The hungry luma is a familiar installation in the Mario Galaxy cosmology and by all appearances is the primary mechanism for the creation of stars and planets. It stands to reason, then, that given the unique physics of that universe, that there must also be provision for the more destructive and terrifying celestial bodies.
The weather has been gorgeous and it’s a fine day for colorful cartoons about rail travel with walruses and transformations into bird-people.

In building up to the launch of the indie game Overgrowth, Wolfire Studios is running this comic, which I have to assume provides some backstory or at least shows a little more of the world they’re building. The artwork is very frantic and energetic, done by a very skilled concept artist, and the story so far mostly involves dog people stabbing each other.
